How it works

One picture, three tools, nothing downloaded in between.

This is the same boat the whole way down. Every frame was made here, by the tools on this site, in the order you would use them.

01

You type a description.

No upload, no software. These words made the picture beside them.

“a paper boat on a rainy window, warm light”

a paper boat on a rainy window, warm light

02

The picture goes into the next tool.

One button under the result carries it across. Four versions come back together, each in the style you chose.

“watercolour”

03

And then it moves.

The same picture again, five seconds of it, no sound. You never downloaded anything in between.

“the rain runs down the glass, the boat rocks gently”

Inside the panel

Six looks, six shapes, and a way to keep one you like.

Every setting changes what is asked for. Not one of them changes what it costs: a picture is one credit whichever way you set them.

Look

Photograph Natural light, real lens Product shot Clean, for a shop listing Cinematic Wide, lit like a film Illustration Drawn, not photographed Portrait One face, soft light Graphic Bold shapes, few colours

A preset adds words to your description. Yours come first, always.

Another like this

a red coat on a bridge a blue coat on a bridge

Same framing, same light, same bridge, one word different. Without it the second press gives you another bridge entirely.

Shape

1:1 4:5 4:3 3:4 16:9 9:16

All six ask for about the same number of pixels, so none of them quietly costs more than another.

Speed

Careful
reads your wording closely, takes a few seconds longer
Quick
returns sooner, reads less of it

The model's own switch. Neither one costs more than the other.

The five tools

What each one costs, and how long it takes.

Every time below is measured from this site's own finished work, not estimated. The number of runs it is measured over is printed beside it, because two of these have been run only once and you should be able to weigh that yourself.

Tool What it does Credits Usually takes
Image Describe it and get a picture 1 credit 11 s over 22 runs
Style pack Four versions of your picture in one style 4 credits 57 s over 2 runs
Video Five seconds of motion from a still picture 24 credits 1 min 20 s over 3 runs
Background The background taken out, edges kept 1 credit 7 s over 1 run
Upscale Sharpened and made larger 5 credits 15 s over 1 run

A credit is the same size whichever tool spends it. Nothing here is charged twice, and a generation that fails gives its credits back.

Made here

Every one of these came out of this site.

The words under each one are the words that made it. Retype them and you get your own version.

a linen curtain lifting in an open window, afternoon light
“a linen curtain lifting in an open window, afternoon light”
a linen tote bag on a stone table, morning sun

an empty reading room, dust in the light

a ceramic cup with steam, dark background

“the curtain lifts and falls in the breeze”

Questions

The things people actually ask.

Short answers. The full versions live in the documents at the bottom of every page.

All questions, or, if yours is not there, write to us.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Every account starts with 20 credits, and this version has no way to buy more: no card is asked for anywhere. Enough for twenty pictures or five style packs. What a credit buys.

Who owns what I make?

You do. We claim nothing. The terms say it in full.

How long does a video take?

One to three minutes. There is no background worker on this site (a job moves forward while a page is asking about it), so leave the tab open if you can. A closed tab does not lose the result: it is collected on your next visit.

What happens to a picture I upload?

It is re-encoded on this server before it goes anywhere, which strips the camera data inside it, including where the photo was taken. Then it is sent to the company that runs the model, in the United States. Our own copy stays in your account until you delete it. JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB. The privacy policy has the rest.

Can I make a picture of a real person?

Please do not, especially in a situation they were never in. It is worth being plain that this is a request: the check on descriptions is a short word list, not face recognition, and nothing here identifies a person. If you do it anyway, you are the one exposed: to them, and to the law where you live. The content policy explains the rest.
